Política de Privacidade

Para garantir a exatidão, este documento está disponível apenas em inglês.

Effective date: June 10, 2026

This privacy policy explains what information measureringsize.com ("we", "this site") processes when you use our free online ring sizer, and the choices you have. The short version: the tool itself runs entirely in your browser, we have no user accounts, and we collect no personal information beyond what is described below.

No accounts, no registration

You do not need to create an account or provide any personal details to use this site. All ring measurements are calculated locally in your browser and are never transmitted to our servers.

Data stored on your device

To save you from recalibrating on every visit, the tool stores your screen calibration value and preferred size unit in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data or by using the "Measure Again" option in the tool.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location at city level, device type). Google Analytics uses cookies and processes your IP address. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, analytics and advertising storage are disabled by default until consent is given.

We also use Vercel Analytics, a cookieless service that collects aggregated performance and visit metrics. It does not track individual users across sites.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

To keep this tool free, we may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use advertising cookies to serve ads, including personalized ads where permitted. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, no advertising cookies are set until you make a choice in the consent message shown on your first visit, and you can change that choice at any time. You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and read about Google's advertising technologies at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Feedback form

If you report a mistake through the feedback form, we receive the description you write, an email address if you choose to provide one, and technical context that helps us reproduce the issue: your IP address, browser user agent, and the page you were on. This information is delivered to a private channel on Discord (operated by Discord Inc., USA) and is used solely to investigate and fix the reported issue. It is deleted once the issue is resolved.

Legal bases and your rights

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for advertising and analytics cookies, and on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site for the technical data processed by the feedback form. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Contact

For any privacy question or request, contact us through the feedback form available in the footer of every page — include an email address if you would like a reply.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, when advertising goes live). The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision.
